Anitra Dunbar
I am an experienced and dedicated nurse with over 33 years in the healthcare field. I began my career as a Licensed Practical Nurse and advanced my education and clinical expertise to become a Registered Nurse, followed by certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner and later as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Throughout my career, I have developed a broad and versatile clinical background, working with both pediatric and adult populations in psychiatric care. In addition, I have extensive involvement in adult medical, with a strong focus on the geriatric population.
My professional journey reflects a deep commitment to patient-centered care, continuous learning, and a privilege of caring for individuals across the lifespan.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and staying active in my community.
